Music For My Anglican Friend

I find the themes expressed in this music video to be quite truthful and the song’s lyrical thematics actually match the song for once. Apparently, the video is supposed to be based on the Biblical story of Job. The band’s lead singer was trained at Jewish schools seeing as he was formerly Jewish. The band is also apparently made up of an atheist, a Muslim, an ethnic Jew, and a Christian. Hence the name Disturbed.

This song always helps me in rough times. I especially the parts that their female vocalist, Kaisa Jouhki’s parts. “Let me forget the dawn, let me rise again, without the fear”. The song shows taking courage in difficulties. Any Tolkien-influenced band like Battlelore is always good to listen to though.

Because we all wish there was someone that would not only write us a thousand letters to be near to us but also because we wish that same someone would fight through pain and death in order to get to us as well.

Still no sign of wings as of yet as one escapes from their tormentors, turning their back on them.
